EurOcean 2014: Conference report & Rome declaration

Calls for a fully operational European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet), ensuring collected data are well managed and freely available, to support science, industry and policy, aligned with further development of the European Ocean Observing System (EOOS), integrated at the global level (including GOOS4 , GEO5 and Copernicus) to address the complex challenges of blue growth and ocean sustainability.
