EOOS implementation is progressively achieved through dialogue amongst the communities, users, and funders. Each milestone in the EOOS development is followed by a stakeholder engagement loop (EOOS case study in the OceanObs’19 community white paper, Mackenzie et al (2019) The Role of Stakeholders in Creating Societal
Value From Coastal and Ocean Observations. Front. Mar. Sci).
Since the establishment of the EOOS steering group, several events have been organized to promote, explain and gain support for EOOS. In addition, EOOS has been profiled in dozens of events around Europe through presentations and exhibitions.
